Theme: This Conference is aimed as to bring National & International scientists on common platform to share views and exchange state of art knowledge on recent trends in toxicity and preclinical toxicology, toxicogenomics, food safety and Good Laboratory Practices. It is hoped to make the event a memorable experience both scientifically and personally.
In the recent past with the development of new categories of bio-pharmaceuticals like viz. biotech products, DNA vaccines, plant products, drugs, chemicals, genetically modified foods, stem cell therapy, nano medicine etc., the routine guidelines for preclinical toxicity evaluation are being developed on case to case basis. Since, the importance of genomics has become pertinent in the current situation, the new challenges for toxicologists are emerging. Therefore the present symposium is organized with the following current topics. In addition pre-conference workshop on 4th November, 2009 on pre-clinical toxicology, ethics in animal experimentation and GLP will be held.

Sixth Solanaceae Genome Workshop
Date: November 08 - 13, 2009
Venue: Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi, India
Theme: As in past it would bring together spectrum of different scientists working on different aspects of Solanaceae ranging from biodiversity, genetics, plantpathogen interaction, genomics and bioinformatics. SOL 2009 would be a forum to discuss and present new information generated by the study of Solanaceae species including progress in the sequencing of various Solanaceae genomes. The SOL 2009 would also provide a forum to sit together and create a road map for future.
